It’s a unique community in Lakewood Ranch developed by Lennar Corporation, who approaches the building process as an “Everything’s Included” in the price of the home. There were limited design choices, however the homes were nicely appointed from the beginning. By taking that approach, the builder could buy products in bulk, and pass that savings on to the buyers. The development is the first solar powered gated community in Lakewood Ranch with the panels being produced by SunStreet, Lennar’s own technology company. There is a reasonable monthly fee for leasing the equipment. During the day the roof top panels use the collected energy from the sun and at night conventional power is used.
