Do not count on a builder’s sales representative to educate you about other communities better suited to you. They are paid to sell their community only, and that may not be in your best interest. We work for your best interests always.
No, the builder has a set price and has already accounted for Realtor fees. They will not discount the purchase price if you are not working with a Realtor, so you might as well have a representative only working in your best interests.
It’s best to call us before making contact with builders, however, it is common that buyers have already inquired to builder’s website or phone number prior to calling us. Even if you have already spoken to the builder representative previously, there is still plenty of time to get us involved and work with you. It is most important that we be there with you on your first visit to their sales center or model homes. Builder sales reps are usually thrilled to work with buyers who are represented by Realtors.
